Jonathan Tucker, CPA, CA, LPA, is the managing director of Tucker Professional Corporation, and together with his team, provides exceptional service that focuses principally on health professionals.
Jonathan received his CA designation in 1997 after having attended York University in Toronto. He went on to complete a two-year in-depth Income Tax specialty program offered by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Jonathan continues to maintain professional credibility through his memberships on both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Rino is a partner and is the leader of the Indirect Tax Practice for the Large Market Region of BDO Dunwoody, LLP. He has more than twenty years of tax experience, specializing in planning for HST, GST, PST, and employment-related taxes for owner-managed businesses.
Rino has authored and taught courses internally for BDO Dunwoody, has been published in CMA magazine, and presented at the CICA National Tax Conference.
Rino is an active member of the community and is the Past President of the Victoria Order of Nurses – Hamilton Wentworth Branch and continues to volunteer his time to the VON. He has also been an active member of Hamilton Habitat for Humanity and the Knights of Columbus.
Manu Kakkar CPA, CA, CGA, TEP, MTax is a Chartered Accountant, Certified General Accountant, Trust and Estate Practitioner and has a Master of Taxation from the University of Waterloo. Manu holds a Bachelors of Science in Triple Honours Immunology from McGill University.
Manu has over 14 years of experience in taxation in both domestic and international personal and corporate taxation. Manu runs his own independent tax practice and serves a diverse client base across Canada and the US in areas including manufacturing, retail, and distribution, construction, real estate, professionals, service providers, artists and athletes. Manu acts as tax counsel to over 60 professional firms in Canada and the USA.
Manu is an award-winning tax writer. His Master of Taxation thesis won 2 awards and was published in the Canadian Tax Journal. Manu has published and presented over 120 tax articles and presentations since 2001. Manu has taught tax at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Quebec and Ontario, the Canadian Tax Foundation, The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Institutes of Certified General Accountants of Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia and the Regina District Society.
Manu sits on the Steering Committee for the CPA Canada’s National Income Tax Conference on Income Taxes and is one of the lead writers of the CGA Canada Tax Practice Manual.
Jeffrey Meyers, CPA, CA graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1984 with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. He then earned his CA designation in 1987 and completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course in 1990. In 2011, Jeff obtained the United States CPA designation. He has also attended numerous professional development courses throughout his career.
Jeff’s experience with income tax began in 1986 in Winnipeg where he worked in Public Practice, providing tax services primarily for owner-managed businesses and their shareholders. In 1988, Jeff relocated to Toronto where he continued to work in Public Practice, developing his services to include both small and large businesses, domestic and international, with an emphasis on US personal tax and cross-border issues.
In 1992, Jeff switched to Industry Practice, as a tax manager for a large, multi-national corporation headquartered in Canada, dealing mainly with tax audits and appeals, mergers and acquisitions and international issues.
Since 1995, Jeff has been a sole practitioner, providing income tax services to fellow accountants, their clients, and the general public.
Originally from Mississauga, Sharon completed her education in Executive Office Management in Hamilton. She has spent many of the past 23 years working in the not-for-profit sector and finds satisfaction in serving others in order that they may achieve their goals.
Sharon joined Tucker Professional Corporation to provide administrative support for the professional development programs offered through Accounting Practitioners’ Forum. She assists in the areas of faculty communication and coordination, venue liaison and scheduling, as well as customer service.
